Post-Turkey Day, on Friday morning, we headed to PawPaw Bob's House to enjoy a lunch of champions..... Brisket, sausage, & peppered turkey (prepared by my Daddio); apple pie, pecan pie, yummy cookies, corn casserole, squash casserole (made by Aunt Sherry-who used MawMaw Joy's recipes); green bean casserole & dressing that Grace brought (prepared by her mama-yum!); a fruit salad, sweet potato casserole, & mac-and-cheese (made by my mama).....What a Feast!It was fun watching the newest Taylor Cousins play together, we had a blast letting the house full of kiddos run wild amongst the puppies and grown-ups. My only wish is that MawMaw Joy could have been there. But I know she was watching and loving that her family gathered up at her house like always.
