Robinson Ramblings: Stuntman & The Big Red Dog

Kanyon has definately been working on one of his future occupations...stuntman.

He climbs, teeters, totters, falls down, hops back up with a smile (8 of 10 times a new bruise too), and then repeats the new task at hand. He's figured out that he can place his feet on the bottom edge of the coffee table and lean back on the couch, creating an illusion of hovering above the ground (maybe he's also perfecting his magician skills?).

1. Look at mom with face of innocence, feet planted firmly on the ground.

2. Check and see if both audience members are watching, while getting into position.

3. Smile with pride as you show off your accomplishments.

Next up on the agenda, climb into the not-permanently-attached basket on the back of the trike, while Mommy yells "Better watch out, you're gonna fall!"

He didn't fall, but the basket did pop off, like it always does when he attempts this.

Earlier in the day we had went on a Clearance Section shopping mission at Kohl's seeking baby girl goodies at incredible prices. We found a lime green cardigan for $3, a sleeper/pant/shirt/hat set for $7.99 (instead of $14-$20), and one other pink & lime green outfit for $4...mission accomplished.

As we were in line to check out, Kanyon started "woof-woof"-ing when he spotted the display set up of all the Clifford The Big Red Dog stuffed animals. They're only $5 and proceeds benefit children in need, so being the gullible mom I am, bought him his own Clifford. When we got out to the truck, we pulled it out of the bag for further inspection, and Kanyon immediately showered his new dog friend with kisses and lovins.
