Kanyon decided he was no longer scared of the lion costume he had gotten before Halloween from Mimi and paraded around the house roaring at everyone. Hilarious.

Winter arrived! Yippee Skippee!
dec. 6th - Came home from doc appt to find that the babysitter had to change a horribly stinky diaper from Kanyon...I cracked up when the babysitter said they thought there was something wrong with the diapers I had left out...low and behold, it was because the diaper was placed on backwards. Picture worthy moment before I fixed Kanman's diaper. Who was the sitter? My Daddio, Papa's last diaper to change was 16 years ago, when Nick was a baby!! Funny to come home to that scene. Plus about half the container of wipes was used during the changing. What a dedicated Papa!
dec. 7th - Kanman eating breakfast wearing his Sock Monkey crochet hat made by Mimi. Might be a little small, and on backwards, but that boy was proud of his new hat! My mom has some mad crocheting skills!

not 30 minutes later, hit his face and got a black eye!
dec. 9th - It's hard work being a baby.
dec. 9th - Kanyon was probably thinking how unfair that sister gets to swing indoors and he can't, so why not help himself to her seat. I can't even count how many times we found him in this swing.

dec 12th- one month old - Squeaky clean in Bubba's hand-me-down infant towel.
dec. 14th-Ready to go see Santa at the Mall
dec. 15th - Daytime visit @ Papa Drum's. One of kanyon's favorite things to do is take glasses off of people's faces or when the glasses are propped on their heads, or tucked in the pocket of a shirt.
dec. 18th - Exhausted boy after a trip to Gatesville to Maw's house for the weekend before Christmas celebration.
dec. 19th - Karter in her "mom & dad say I'm Santa's favorite" onesie and allowing Mommy to prop the candy cane headband on her sweet little noggin for some holiday themed pics

dec. 23rd - Can't go wrong with pictures of grandbabies in sweet frames for Christmas presents for Lollie, Mimi, Pops, & Papa
Dec. 24th -xmas eve night. Santa came!
dec. 25th- Christmas Morning - Kanyon was sick with croup. Horrible Christamas Eve morning spent at the walk-in clinic. This pic was taken after 9:30 in the morn, had to wake him up to see what Santa brought. Kelby and I were sooo excited to see kanyon's reaction when he saw his "big" santa gift...drumset!! and the cowboy hat was from santa as well.
Baby's 1st Xmas! - Karter in her xmas jammies, santa hat, and new Princess rocking chair from Santa. She looks real excited that I plopped her in it to snap a quick pic.
Christmas Day was spent with Kanyon being sick in bed, but I still dressed Karter up for a quick photo opp while Bubba was napping. Love those boots! Mimi made this blanket and it went perfectly with her christmas attire.
Christmas Night -Sleeping Beauty even gets decked out during her slumbers when her crazy Mama can't stand to wait until she's awake to try on fabulous bows like this one from Maw (Carolyn). Too stinking cute!
dec. 27th-it may have been past xmas, but had to make sure I did a photo session in the Bow, Candy Cane onesie, and matching tutu from Lollie. So adorable!
dec. 29th- Cooing and smiling up a storm.
When Kanyon enters Karter's line of view, she will not take her eyes off of him. I'm betting they'll be great playmates one day.
dec. 29th Pretty Day for a trip to the playground at Jackson.
dec. 30th - backyard shenanigans (sp?) so proud of himself for going 'super fast" down the slide
dec. 31st - New Year's Eve (and no, we did not stay up until midnight!)
