We're Going on a Treasure Hunt

The "Big" Gift that Kelby & I wanted to get Kanyon for his birthday was a swingset, however due to living in a town like Abilene, no one carries swingsets or playsets in the stores. One evening, we went to Target, Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot searching for what we had in mind. No such luck. The only option was to order one online, and seeing as how this was the week before his party, we did not have enough time to get it delivered by then.

However, our hunt for a swingset led us to find a different treasure- a Treasure Chest shaped Sandbox that we found at Lowes. How perfect! Kelby went and purchased it the next day, and we had it set up as an early bday gift. Kanyon LOVES the sandbox. He will sit in there forever. Some of his party gifts were sand-related (shovels, buckets, etc), so he is all set. The kids play in it daily, it will get plenty of use!
