Another B word we focused on yesterday was...BALL.
We had a 'ball' feeding the ball-eating giraffe.
Extremely exciting event when the balls reappear at the giraffe's feet.
Then we brought out this baby playmat and played a game. I'd hand over a ball, naming the color, and ask Kanyon to put it on a certain animal, then we'd say the animal's sound.
We flipped over the playmat to the BLUE side...called it a Blue Blanket,
a Box full of Balls of all sizes & textures,
emptied out said box, anddid a few activities.... matched up balls by color, then size, arranged them up in a square shape, counted 10 balls, and focused on "BIG" & "Little".
And of course, rolled balls back and forth forever, until most were scattered underneath the bed or dresser. We "keen-up"-ed by chunking them back into their Box. I'm not quite sure if we found all of them yet, but we had fun.
