I'm off to bed, but was trying to finish posting today's learning activities. The pics are uploading extremely slow, so I'll share the Alligator coloring page that we did...
I filled Kanyon's mini pail with various shades of green crayons and we colored our A's, talked about GREEN, and decorated the Alligator. I told him the alligator says "Snap! Snap!" and put my hands together to form the look of the alligator mouth opening and 'snapping' shut. By the end of the day I would ask him what does the alligator say? And he'll yell "Nap!! Nap!!" while clapping his hand in time with the Snap.
I found a cute rhyme finger play that has to do with alligators and monkeys, hopefully tomorrow I can create a craft or coloring sheet to match the rhyme.
