It was lovely to enjoy a bit of Autumn-like weather during our stay in Ruidoso. We did a little bit of shopping on Sunday, well, we browsed, got tired, went to Sonic to snag a sweet tea, then spent the afternoon napping at the cabin while Lollie & Paige shopped & Pops napped in his truck.

Lollie & Pops spotted an acoustic look-a-like kid play guitar at the shop at the horse races (it was way too packed for us to want to venture out to the races, plus the rainy weather would make the money spent for seats worthless) and Kanyon woke up from his nap verrrry excited to play it.

He performed for us the entire weekend by standing on the base of the fireplace, singing his heart out while playing his new stringed instrument.
